I'm Liam McGrath. I run McGrath Electric Services out of Wandong, doing residential work across the Mitchell Shire. Switchboards, fault finding, lighting and the jobs on the list you keep meaning to sort out. Tidy work, a clear price before I start, and a text if I'm running late.

What I do

Residential service and repair, mostly.

That's where I specialise, so it's where I'm quickest and where the price is fairest. Renovation work and small commercial jobs too. If you're not sure whether something is worth a call, ring and ask.

    Power point & light installations

    An extra point where you actually need one, a light moved, a TV brought up onto the wall. The small jobs that sit on a list for months.

    Switchboard upgrades & safety checks

    Modern RCBO safety switches on their own circuits, so a fault in one room does not take out the house. Labelled properly before I leave.

    Fault finding & repairs

    Insulation tester, clamp meter and a methodical approach, rather than swapping parts until something works. You get told what the fault was.

    LED lighting upgrades

    Downlights, strip lighting under cabinetry and in niches, pendants over a bench. Warm light that makes a room look finished.

    Ceiling fans

    Supplied and installed, or a swap for a tired one. Balanced properly so it runs quiet on the higher speeds.

    Smoke alarms

    Installation and replacement, including interconnected alarms so every one in the house sounds together.

  • 07

    Renovations & small commercial work

    Rough-in and fit-off through a renovation, working around the other trades, plus small commercial jobs.

My name's Liam and McGrath Electric Services is my business. I work out of Wandong and Heathcote Junction, which means when you call, you get someone who lives here rather than someone pricing in an hour of travel each way.

I specialise in residential service and repair: reliable, tidy workmanship, clear communication and fair pricing. That's the whole pitch. The reviews tend to say the same few things back at me, which is a good sign, because those are the things I try hardest to get right.
